Who are you?
New Zealand Growth Capital Partners (NZGCP) was established by the New Zealand Government in 2002 to build a vibrant early-stage technology investment market in New Zealand.
How do you help founders?
We operate two investment vehicles; Elevate and Aspire which are funds designed to stimulate private investment into this space through a fund-of-funds and co-investment model. Elevate is a $300m government-funded fund-of-funds, that invests into venture capital funds; aimed at filling the Series A and B capital gap for high-growth New Zealand tech companies. Aspire is a seed fund that invests directly into early-stage Kiwi technology start-ups at proof of concept, seed, and early expansion investment stages.
Which NZ startups have you worked with?
Aspire currently has an active portfolio of 150+ companies including; Kami, Aroa Biosurgery, Kitea Health, Cropsy, LawVu, OpenStar Technologies, Space Rock Games, and more!
